PMEXCEL - Development of Vocational Education and Training Excellence in Powder Metallurgy
The PMEXCEL project brings together a network of 14 organisations from Belgium, Germany, France, Sweden, Spain and Turkey, representing both education providers and industry.
PMEXCEL is an EU project aimed at establishing centres of excellence in the powder metallurgy industry by analysing skills needs within the sector and developing an online e-learning platform accredited by the EU as ‘micro-credentials’. The e-learning platform is designed to help young people and students improve their skills, whilst also helping to retrain and bring up to date the current workforce in the powder metallurgy industry, whose qualifications are outdated.
The PMXCEL consortium will focus on creating international synergies to help meet the demand for skilled personnel across the various sectors in which metal powders are used.
